l consulente tecnico di parte (CTP) è una figura professionale altamente specializzata in un ambito specifico, come ad esempio perito meccanico, esperto meccatronico, ricostruttore cinematico, car investigator. Nominato da una delle parti coinvolte in un processo, il CTP ha il compito di supportare la parte che rappresenta, fornendo competenze tecniche superiori rispetto a quelle della stessa parte o del suo legale. Secondo l’articolo 201 del codice di procedura civile, “La scelta di avvalersi di una consulenza tecnica di parte è lasciata alla discrezione della parte”, evidenziando così che la decisione di nominare un CTP è discrezionale.
